About Us

Sterling Financial Services (SFS) and Sterling Management Corporation (SMC) were started in 1993 by Ted Wanderer. Principals and associated persons of these companies are associated with National Planning Corporation (NPC) in Santa Monica, CA as Registered Representatives. NPC is a diversified financial services company engaged in the sale of specialized investment products.

In 2000 Ted sold the companies to Don Kittleman. The relationship was very successful and the group grew in numbers. In 2003, Ted Wanderer retired from the daily operations of Sterling Financial Services and Sterling Management Corp.

Our Registered Representatives are located in California as far North as Redding, and throughout the San Francisco Bay area and the San Joaquin Valley.
